Nice sketch...somehow reminds me of the song of Avril - Everyday is a winding Road .

Not sure what your " thoughts" or just being " Idle" was the cause of this....!
Have a nice day !!

Pyare Mohan, please do not apologise. I appreciate your feedback. Since I am learning, I need to know where to work on.

some reference on the net for sketching..
I would suggest you take up a nice landscape and begin sketching from that. It will give you an immaculate idea of perspective. Currently the sketch lacks perspective.
For idea on how perspective works...

It is a bit technical but very important. Also try to keep drawing circles on paper without your wrist taking support on the drwing board. The lines you draw should have confidence...

Another interesting link is

For anatomical drawings check out Boris Vallejo's paintings... they are inspiration to many artists and animators i know...

East of Oregon, thanks. But as Pyare Mohan has advised me, I have lots of scope of improvement :-))

Pyare Mohan, thanks a lot for those links. I just took a quick look at them, and they are really good. Thanks again.
